7 1/2 Months

Brachele's Bachelorette Party. It was iced tea and going home before midnight for this ol' lady.

Third Trimester Blues

7 and a half months, here is what that looks like:

I can't eat, drink, or do "certain things".
I can't sleep, walk, bend,
or wear my rings.
My clothes are too tight,
I look like a fright...
I swell, sweat, hurt and cry.
I complain and sometimes
I don't even know why.

But the best part about it, is just around the corner;
when I get to see her, love her,
and just plain adore her!

That was a month ago!

Progress

Slowly, but surely, here we have the makings of a nursery. Justin worked really hard to paint it all and I helped him put the crib together.
Also, just to update, results from the blood work all came back good.

Doctor's Update

Just a quick update from the doctor's visit today; everything seems good. I'm at 26 weeks, so I had my glucose screening, which is where they check for gestational diabetes. I was worried about the drink since I have heard bad things, but honestly, at first, I thought it was pretty good. Of course about halfway through my throat started hurting because it was so sweet, but overall, not a bad experience. We listened to the heartbeat which was also still good, and this is the last long month between doctor's visits. The only thing he wants me to do is keep track everyday of my dizzy spells, and breathing/high pulse issues. I'll find out the results next week from the blood work, but I'm not expecting anything bad.
And now, just for fun, for all those non-pregnant people to feel better about themselves, since my 1st appointment, I have gained a whopping 10 pounds! Of course, I hadn't eaten that morning :) It sure does catch up with you pretty quick :)
